PLASTIC PRECISION COMPONENTS MADE SMARTER

PLASTIC PRECISION COMPONENTS MADE SMARTER

Traditionally, our exterior machine components were cast from aluminium. Injection moulding was never an option due to low volumes and high tooling costs. Broanmain encouraged us to review this way of thinking, offering range of durable materials and sensible tooling prices. Starting with one component, we now have over twenty two components in series production.

Injection Moulding

Injection moulding is our core business. We repeatably manufacture components with close tolerances in large quantities. Being able to mass-mould a variety of materials, most commonly thermoplastic polymers, also assists with sustainability and lightweighting.

We mould intricate polymer parts ranging from 0.1mm in size right up to shot weights of up to 3kg. Including an extensive range of electronic housings, connectors, gears, micro-switches and industrial plastic components.

For added convenience and flexibility, our fleet of 35-550 tonne injection moulding machines are equipped with mould tool heating, colour dosing, conveyors and material drying facilities.

Low or high volume, our injection moulding services include:

  • Material research
  • Prototyping and trials
  • Precision and close tolerance moulding
  • Vacuum assisted moulding
  • Moulded inserts and IML
  • Unscrewing facilities
  • Over-moulding & twin-shot
  • Post production assembly

Materials chosen with care

With 60 years injection moulding experience, our technical specialists can advise on how to achieve the best quality and most cost effective moulding aesthetic. We source the following polymers from trusted suppliers.

  • PC (Polycarbonate)
  • PC/ABS (Polycarbonate/ABS alloy)
  • PA6 (Polyamide 6)
  • PA66 (Polyamide 66)
  • POM (Acetal)
  • PBT (Polyester)
  • ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • PE (Polyethylene)
