Questions about plastic components for science and medical
Material choice depends on the application. PP and HDPE are popular for chemical-resistant fluid handling. Polycarbonate gives optical clarity for sight glasses and viewing windows. POM (acetal) provides dimensional stability and low friction for moving parts. For the most demanding applications we process PEEK, which is widely used in medical and analytical instruments.
Yes. We have customers whose components have been in continuous production for decades. We hold tooling on site, maintain it, and update production routines as needed to maintain consistent results across the life of the tool.
Yes. Every batch is traceable to material lot, machine, operator and inspection records. We retain batch records and can provide certificates of conformance with each delivery.
Yes. Our customer Specac alone ships our components to laboratories in over 70 countries. We are experienced in supporting export documentation, packaging requirements for international transport, and supply schedule coordination across multiple territories.
We can accommodate clean production requirements where needed. Talk to us about specific cleanliness, packaging or handling requirements for your application.
