Plastic enclosures, connectors, housings and precision structural components for the electronics industry. We process UL94-rated fire-retardant grades and materials with specific electrical insulation properties. Our work with Trend Control Systems involved managing 27 individual mould tools, including components as small as 5mm by 1.5mm.
With over 70 years of manufacturing experience, ISO 9001 certification since 1989, and a team that understands the specific demands of your sector, we deliver components that perform where it matters.

“Even though moving to a new supplier that we'd never worked with before is unprecedented, especially when designing a flagship new product, meeting Wilf and the Broanmain team instantly filled us with confidence.”
Trend realises the merits of reshoring
Bringing production closer to its manufacturing site was a key rationale for Trend Control System, part of the Honeywell Group, when launching its next generation of climate control systems for use in high-end hotels and commercial office buildings.
Questions about plastic components for electronics and technology
Yes. UL94 fire-retardant processing is a regular part of our work for electronics customers. We process FR-rated PC, ABS, PBT and PA (nylon), and we are experienced in the transition from halogenated to halogen-free FR grades where regulations require it.
Our all-electric machines deliver exceptional shot-to-shot consistency, allowing us to hold tolerances down to 0.1mm on appropriate features. The smallest components we have produced for electronics customers have been around 5mm by 1.5mm. We are happy to discuss tolerance requirements for specific features at the design review stage.
Yes. We can integrate in-mould labelling for branded enclosures, control panels and consumer electronics housings where a high-quality printed finish is required directly on the moulded part.
Yes. Several of our customers manufacture connector and switch components in small, multi-cavity tools. We have produced components down to a few millimetres across with consistent shot weights and dimensional control.
Where EMI shielding is required we can advise on conductive material grades, two-shot moulding strategies, and downstream finishing such as conductive coatings through our partner network. Talk to us about your specific shielding requirements early in the design process.
