Environment & Social Awareness

At Broanmain we try to ensure that, in all of the processes we use, we produce our finished goods with the minimum impact upon the environment. We are constantly seeking new, more efficient methods of working, and try to reduce our carbon footprint at all opportunities.

We sort our waste into landfill and recyclables.

We use energy efficient light bulbs and timers wherever possible, Autoswitch on /off systems, PowerBoss phase correction, Heat insulation of presses, shredding for packing to name a few.

We support the local community in various ways such as sponsorship for the Christmas lights in Dorking. In the summer of 2008 we supported a local dance festival.

We are a local employer.

We provide tours of the factory to various school groups and social clubs such as Scouts.

Wherever possible we try to use local businesses to provide goods and services.

Our goods are packaged in boxes made from predominantly recycled card and we distribute our finished goods by carrier, endeavoring to send as much as possible within each delivery.
