Trend Control Systems, part of the Honeywell Group of companies, is one of the world’s leading Building Energy Management Systems manufacturers. The business was looking for a reliable manufacturer to manage the tool design and production of the plastic housing components for their latest generation of climate control systems.
After a highly rigorous selection process, Broanmain successfully won the contract to produce these components. The project itself represented the biggest challenge for Broanmain to date, incorporating over 20 new tools and introducing new processes, such as pad printing and multiple assemblies.
The tooling was sourced from China and its introduction into the Broanmain portfolio was overseen by the our team with the assistance of Peter Light from Trend Controls. Pre-production was to a tight schedule and Broanmain was able to deliver to this timescale at each milestone. Since full production has been in place, quantities have increased significantly.
